Juan Bermejo

Brief Biography

Juan Bermejo was a native of Torrelaguna which is in the Madrid Province. His place of birth was part of the Mendoza Family territory. Juan was present at the 1540 muster as a footman. After the expedition he was briefly in Mexico City and then returned to Compostela. He was illiterate.
