Pedro de Talavera was present at the 1540 muster as a footman with some armor. There is mention of a Pedro de Talavera accompanying Alderete to New Spain and that individual may be the expeditionary because several other expeditionaries also came with Alderete. There are at least four different Pedro de Talaveras in the documentary record.
