Gaspar Baptista, indio

Brief Biography

The indios amigos were not listed on the 1540 muster but many were present. They also rarely appear as individuals in the documentary record. The only known documentary record for Gaspar Baptista is dated 1580 when his son mentioned that his father was a member of the Expedition.
