Brief Biography:
The expeditionary Juan Troyano stated in 1568 in one of his many letters to the king that "it was in God's interest to give him a wife from Tierra Nueva." Rarely do women appear in the documentary record and Troyano gives no details. He neither provides her name or states which pueblo she came from.
