Andrés de Salinas, son of

Brief Biography:
The son of Andrés de Salinas is known to have come to New Spain with his father in 1536, so it is highly likely that he was a native of Salinas de Rosío (Burgos province) also. Andrés's son is listed on the 1540 muster with no first name and it is odd that his father is not on the muster, even though he, too, was an expeditionary. The son served in Vázquez de Coronado's company. Without a first name, it is virtually impossible to track him in the documents. Several Salinases are listed below in the documentary references.
